We are seeking a customer-focused Pharmacy Technician to join a well-established Independent Pharmacy in Sligo Town. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic, energetic and passionate about working with others.

The role is permanent full-time Monday to Friday. No weekends, Bank Holidays or late nights past 6PM are involved. Dispensing system used is MPS.

Responsibilities

• To prepare and dispense medicines under the supervision of the pharmacist
• Ordering and controlling stock levels of medicines
• Preparation of blister packs
• Tracking the reimbursement claim
• Help to organise specialist pharmacy services
• Provide friendly and professional customer service
• Be responsible for ordering and stock management
• Assisting in OTC Sales when necessary during busy times

Skills Required

• Pharmacy technician course or significant dispensary experience is essential
• Over The Counter Medicine Course
• Excellent communication skills
• Friendly, hardworking, team player to fit into an already strong pharmacy team
• Dispensing System: MPS
