Training Development Partner

Contract
Dublin
€55000 - €67000 per annum

A leading regulatory body has a newly created position for a Training Development Partner for a 2 year contract.

Strategic Objectives

  • Capability Development: Contribute to both national and international efforts to build skills and competencies.
  • Change Management: Support departmental motivation and adaptability through change management.
  • European Initiatives: Participate in relevant European projects.

Operational Objectives

  • Collaboration on Training Development: Work with project leads to develop standardized training approaches.
  • Engagement with SMEs: Collaborate with subject matter experts to gather insights for instructional materials.
  • Instructional Design: Create effective instructional plans using learning theories and design principles.
  • e-Learning Development: Develop and test e-learning courses using software and authoring tools.
  • Accessibility and Quality Assurance: Ensure courses are accessible and functional through UX and UDL principles, and regular testing.
  • Project Management: Manage multiple small-to-medium projects, as well as streams within larger projects.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Maintain communication with European Training Centres, stakeholders, and teams.
  • Evidence-based Approaches: Contribute to academic articles and research pertaining to regulatory education.

Quality and Knowledge Management

  • Implementation of Quality Systems: Assist managers with the implementation of a quality management system.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Ensure effective communication and storage of knowledge and information within the department.
  • Regulation Awareness: Ensure that procedures remain current with regulatory developments.

Performance Management

  • Learning Culture: Promote a culture of learning, feedback, and coaching.
  • Performance Reporting: Regularly report on progress, and identify performance issues early on.
  • Participate in PDP: Engage in the Performance Development Programme to improve efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential:
    • Postgraduate qualification in a relevant field such as Education, Healthcare, or Psychology.
    • At least 2 years of experience in a relevant industry.
    • Knowledge of best practices in postgraduate education and digital learning technologies.
    • Strong IT skills and experience with learning technologies and LMS.
    • Demonstrated ability to manage and lead projects independently.
    • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
  • Desirable:
    • Prior experience in instructional design or development of training programs.
    • Research and analytical skills.
