Position: HR Business Partner
Reporting To: Divisional Head of HR
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the HR leadership team and key business leaders to design and execute strategic people plans that align with business objectives.
- Manage key employee relations matters, including grievances, disciplinary actions, sickness absence, and capability issues.
- Lead and deliver HR initiatives and strategic projects in collaboration with various HR teams, such as Reward, Talent, and Learning & Development (L&D).
- Ensure HR programs and processes align with both business and HR strategies, optimizing employee engagement and performance.
Key Duties:
- Strategic People Plans: Partner with the Head of HR and senior leadership to create and implement people strategies that support business goals, foster high performance, and improve employee engagement.
- Employee Relations Management: Act as the first point of contact for employee relations issues, managing disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence, and capability cases. Provide guidance to managers and escalate issues when needed.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Maintain close relationships with various business areas to ensure HR strategies are aligned with business needs. Act as a sounding board for emerging HR issues and share insights with the wider HR team.
Key Skills & Competencies:
- Interpersonal Skills: Able to engage and build relationships at all levels of the organization, including senior leaders. Comfortable challenging decisions and providing constructive feedback.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to listen, understand, and convey complex HR matters in an accessible manner.
- Problem-Solving and Sensitivity: Demonstrates a high level of sensitivity when handling employee issues and can effectively balance empathy with assertiveness.
