HR Manager

€40000 - €48000 per annum

A leading Irish based organisation, headquartered in Galway are looking for a HR Manager to join their growing team.

Role Overview:

As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day to day running of the HR function and operations. Reporting to the Head of HR and working closely with the SLT. your role will be vital in supporting staff well-being, performance, development, and recruitment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruitment & Onboarding: Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding for new employees.
  • Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to staff, ensuring that the workplace environment is inclusive, respectful, and aligned with our values.
  • Training & Development: Identify staff training needs and create development programs that support professional growth and organizational success.
  • Performance Management: Lead performance appraisal processes, ensuring that feedback is constructive and goals are aligned with the charity's objectives.
  • Policy & Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to legal requirements and best practices in HR management.
  • Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll, benefits administration, and ensure compensation structures are fair and equitable.
  • Staff Well-being: Foster a positive work environment by promoting employee well-being and providing support in times of need.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Experience: Proven experience in an HR management role, ideally within the non-profit or charity sector.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and UK employment law (or applicable region).
  • Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Qualifications: CIPD Level 5 or equivalent (or willingness to work towards it).
